Sunday in the NICU

Sunday

Taggart and Sienna are making progress everyday towards their feeding goals. Each time they are eating more and doing it on their own. It's exciting!

I think Sienna looks like one of those porcelain dolls.

Taggart's looks like a teenage boy zonked out after being up all night.

On Sunday the NICU has visiting hours for siblings older than five. James got to go. Lynnlee and Kaden came with and hung out in the waiting room. I thought Lynnlee would feel left out so we planned to Skype her in the lobby but she didn't really care. She loves looking at pictures of them on my phone.

James was excited when he met them, despite how his face looks with his mask on. He thought it was so cool that he got to wear the mask. When I asked him if I could take a picture of him wearing it he said yes and then he had a very serious face.

We have found a good routine for now to give everyone some time and attention. I go to the hospital twice during the day and then spend time in between with these three. We get to spend lots of time together at night. Last night we had popcorn and a dance party.

We had lots of family time today and these three kept us entertained.

Tonight we fed the ducks after leaving the hospital.
It's been a good night. Hopefully we are getting to the home stretch with the twins and can bring them home sometime this week.
