Texas Part 4

Sunday morning we had church at Charlie's before Ali's flight. I'm so glad we got a picture of the "three little kids."

That afternoon we went on a nature walk in Balcones.

I can't remember if it was this night or a different night that Lynnlee and Lydia performed for us. They both have ukuleles so they switched off playing.

Monday was our last day. We went tubing down a river near San Antonio called San Marcos. It was a very gently, lazy river. The water felt very refreshing. We passed a portion of the river where there were over a dozen turtles all down the banks of the river. Too bad none of us had a camera to take a picture.

 

 

We went to dinner at Chuy's (pronounced Chewy's). They had really yummy food and the service was amazing!

Then we got a picture by the Liberty Hill sign.

Charlie and Angeline were great hosts! I would love to go to Texas again. Hopefully we will be back there again soon and can see and do some of the things that were closed this time.
