The Minis's 6th Birthdays

The Minis turned 6!!! We've always been told that when twins turn five it gets easier. We found that it was mostly true. They are pretty independent and are good buddies, but they are also very energetic, loud, and mischievous. I remember wondering if I should send them to kindergarten or wait because they were so energetic and fed off of each other. Everyone said they were ready and to send them. I'm glad I didn't wait because they did fine in their own classes. They are still energetic and crazy when they are together. I don't think that side of them would have changed at all with holding them back. I think by sending them it helped them control their energy.

Each year we alternate one of them going to the other's bed to open presents when they first wake up. This year it was Taggart's year to go to Sienna's room.

Sienna only likes wearing nightgowns to bed and also wearing nightgowns all throughout the day so she got another nightgown.

Birthday breakfast was pancakes, bacon, eggs and orange juice.

Sienna wanted to go to Build a Bear for her birthday. She picked out a unicorn. Taggart had some birthday money so he ended up getting one too. We went on our way to Splash Summit hence why everyone is in their swimsuits.
The workers were extra great and the minis just loved the whole process. It was a magical morning for them.
At Splash Summit we usually don't buy concessions but I made an exception for the Minis's birthday and everyone got Dip n Dots. They were sooo happy!

That night we went to their favorite restaurant for dinner. It was the first time going since the quarantine. It was interesting how slow the service was considering how few people were there. The good thing is they still got to sit on the saddle.

Kaden's birthday was the following day so he got to ride the saddle too.
