We hiked to the "Y" on Pioneer Day. None of my kids wanted to hike so my mom offered to watch them. (Marshall and James were on their backpacking trip). It was so much fun spending time with Betsy and Katie and her girls.
On the drive home we talked about how funny it would have been if we had dressed up in pioneer clothes and hiked the Y. It was Pioneer Day after all. Just the thought of it gave us a pretty good laugh. I think the teenage us would actually have done that for a "fun and rebellious activity."
